Really curious about what that lemon rice pie would taste like. Pretty much like rice pudding in a pie crust?

My guess is the lemon rice pie was probable sweet, like rice pudding, in a crust

Interesting, I’ve heard the Indiana Quaker /Shaker sugar cream pie is descended from Amish pies.
