My boss tasked me finding a restaurant (hotel restaurant is fine) that has a private-ish room for about 10 people for a breakfast meeting within a couple of blocks of metro center. I'm not a logistics person so I'm looking around randomly.
Any thoughts (although not actually expecting any)... |

What time? Breakfast sit-downs aren't a big thing. Brunch maybe, but that would be later.
Could you get a conference room and order in? Or it has to be a restaurant? |
| Old Ebbitt has a great room for this. I’ve been to many breakfasts there. |
| Old Ebbitt, the Hamilton, Cafe du parc. Not sure if Crimson Diner has private rooms but it is yummy |
| OP here. It'll have to be around 9:30 am on a Tuesday. Cafe du Parc is ideal but I've never seen their semi-private room. Last time I went there for a business breakfast meeting, it was loud and my boss is hesitant to go there again. |
| Try Cafe Riggs or Dirty Habit at the Hotel Monaco. Both have nice private rooms for small groups and should serve breakfast since they are in hotels. |
| The Metropolitan Club. The Hay-Adams if you can stand the plebes. |
| Not exactly downtown but Charlie Palmers does this all the time |
