How are people doing with the new Moderna booster?

I had a rough time.

All of the standard ones but no fever

Sore arm, tired, and a slight headache. Not nearly as bad as the first booster or second dose of primary series!

I had some mild chills about 18 hours after, and a slightly sore arm. It's probably best not to plan on doing anything too strenuous the day after just in case.

Chills, nausea, body aches and fatigue for about 18 hours beginning 12 hours after shot. Consistent with earlier shots. Sore arm. DH some fatigue, but mostly fine.

DH sore, fever, chills, headache...it's been 24 hours since the shot and he's starting to feel better but still has body aches.

Some fatigue, very sore arm for about 2 days. This is day 3 and I’m fine now.

Did you all choose Moderna because that's what you had before? I left a message with my doctor since I wasn't sure if I stick with that one. I did have strong side effects to initial shot and booster.

Are there choices of manufacturers? Or just Moderna?

I've had moderna for all 3 previous shots, so decided to stick with Moderna for this one too. Walgreens seems to have them if you're in MoCo.

No, that's all CVS had, and I'd heard that it's fine to mix and that Moderna performed better in the initial series. TBH, I think we're all a bunch of guinea pigs, but I'm old enough and high risk enough to fear COVID more than the booster.

My primary series was Pfizer. I then boosted last November with moderna and got the moderna bivalent, mostly because it’s all the CVS I went to had.

I've only had Pfizer. Choosing Moderna for my new booster this weekend because it seems like there is a slight benefit to mixing and matching. Hoping I won't regret it. But the boost is 50 micrograms or whatever compared to the original Moderna's 100 so hoping it won't be brutal. I'm not doing much the day after.

My primary series and booster were all Moderna and I had arm soreness and headaches for a couple days after. I am scheduled to get the Moderna bivalent plus my flu vaccine on Monday. Hopefully won't be miserable.
