Recommendations for full-time daycares with preschool curriculum? HHI is 260k - we can not afford half day + nanny. Looking for creative curriculum, somewhere he can stay until PreK/K.
We are based in Silver Spring. Our son will be 2 in May and his in-home program ends when he is 2.5, unfortunately. |
Karasik near Forest Glen.
It’s a daycare but they follow Creative Curriculum and start preschool for the threes. We’ve been there for a year and it’s amazing. Tuition is also reasonable. |
Silver Spring Day School is amazing. Operates from 8-5:30 if you sign up for the extended day options. |
Evergreen School |
Silver Spring Child Care Center - starts at 2 |
Takoma Park Child Development Center, Takoma Children’s School |
This is a Montessori school, so they do not use the Creative Curriculum |
MCCA-KFG also uses CC. Can't remember what Goddard uses but it also seemed nice. |
Takoma Children's School, but it is a play based, Reggio Emilia inspired program, it doesn't do Creative Curriculum. We love it! |
We were happy with Our Expanding World in Takoma Park. Their prices are reasonable for the area too. |
Quality Time Early Learning Center on Georgia Ave. Taught my child to read by age 3. She and a two other alums are now in a magnet program for HS. |
How does creative curriculum compare to Montessori? |
Sorry to be that person, but what is the point of mentioning your household income?
Everybody has a budget, but you have to know how high your household income is relative to the vast majority of your neighbors. |
Their recent reviews are rather concernung and the inspection history is also a little worrying |
Because some bright person will chime in to say OP should hire a nanny. |
