| I am serving cupcakes for an upcoming fall-themed party, and I need bakery recommendations. Appearance and taste are equally important. My default is typically Georgetown Cupcake, but I want other ideas too. I live in MoCo. |
| Sprinkles is 100x better than Georgetown and just as cute. |
| Savvy Treats in Rockville |
I just checked out the website, and they look impressive. Lord knows I despise driving to Georgetown, but I might make an exception. |

The cupcakes at Tout de Sweet (in Bethesda/not a cupcake bakery) are the best I’ve had locally. Here is their pre-order menu:
https://www.toutdesweetshop.com/_files/ugd/816945_8c54fa63a0424d5ab5a32234089b7b47.pdf I also like Baked & Wired in Georgetown. More in the cupcake bakery style, but generously sized https://bakedandwired.com/cakecups/ |
| We usually order Melissa's from NYC but SweetTeensy is my go to when I need them fast. Both are really good cupcakes. |
| The stores mentioned in this thread are all totally mediocre. Make your own cupcakes. it's so easy. |
| Lil Cakes and Creamery in Gaithersburg also has good cupcakes. |
Baked & wired are the best cupcakes in the area. https://bakedandwired.com/cakecups/ |
Agree with Tout de Sweet. |

This woman is based in S. Arl and does beautiful cupcake flower bouquets. I haven't tried them yet and don't know her personally but I see the pics on FB and they look amazing. She has good reviews from others.
