| Anyone ever go to the dc book fair? Tips on what to do? Interesting for a teen? |

OP, do you mean the National Book Festival today (9/3) at the DC convention center? I looked online to see if there was a "DC Book Fair" but only get listings of lots of different, small events. The National Book Festival is a large event and it's a lot of fun but it's half over at this point in the day -- Still, if you see this: Have your teen hop online at the link below and scroll down to see if there are author talks of interest, you might still be able to catch someone your teen or you likes if you hurry!

Yes, the National book fair! We went and it was super fun!! Readings, interviews and loads of book living people.
I plan to attend next year and find local ones |
Gaithersburg book festival (held every may) is excellent. |
Is that OP? I posted above with that link. Hooray for you and your kid(s)! We used to go to the book festival every year but had to miss this year. A few years ago my DH got to meet his favorite author and actually chat for a few minutes so that was a great memory. Can't wait to go back next year. Glad you made it there! |
