I’ve been a strong recommender of Quince on this board, and now see more and more people posting (like the person asking what to pair with a quince dress). My last order was more misses than hits, so this is my totally opinionated, unsolicited list of what I’ve liked and not liked. For the record- I’m on the tall side so YMMV
Top choices: Cashmere sweaters (long sleeve only. Short sleeve is cropped too much, boxy, and was unflattering on me) Cashmere joggers. I bought 3 pairs during the pandemic; one developed a hole from thigh rub after many, many washes and wears, but otherwise, they have been my WFH friends for almost 3 years and have held up to machine washing. Cashmere turtleneck dress- just bought, very cosy Bamboo bedding- DH loves it even more than I do. Middle of the road: Ultra soft pocket legging and performance bra- both are soft; both are not great for any actual workouts. Blue fog is a lot more grey than it looks, and not enough compression - comfy though! Much better than their old version Hard pass: Silk short sleeve top- too short/boxy; supposed to be machine washable but never looked quite as polished after being washed Silk wrap dress- didn’t even close/cover over my 32D chest Ponte pants (https://www.onequince.com/women/ultra-stretch-ponte-straight-leg-pant?color=ecru)- much bigger flare at the leg than it looks in the photo, fabric was underwhelming Short sleeve cashmere t— I got an L not M because I wanted a looser fit- but even that was too short and didn’t drape well Leather goods- underwhelming purse quality (though it doesn’t look like the sell the one I ordered anymore?) I honestly don’t think Quince posts negative reviews (everything has like 4.8 stars), but they clearly have some fit and sizing issues, particularly with the silk stuff. |
Op I love quince too! I just bought a bunch of their 14k gold earrings and I love them so much I’m about to go back for a couple of necklaces. The quality is the same as the other brands they price compare to but quince is so much cheaper. I’m wearing two pairs of their studs right now even! |
OH! I forgot to put their modal t shirt in the “skip” category! Thin, bad cut, unflattering, doesn’t wash well.
Pp- I have been eyeing their gold jewelry! Glad you like it! |
Everything I have ordered was a miss |
I loooove my cashmere sweaters from them and also have some of the washable silk blouses that I really like. |
Their sizing sucks. I am always an XL, sometimes a large, and I can’t fit into anything XL I’ve ordered. |
Any reports on their modal/tencel dresses? This one in particularly:

Everything seems cheap to me |
Have you….actually ordered anything? |
I love my percale duvet cover from there. |
I kept the moto jacket and the crossbody bag. I agree on the silk dress - I'm 30E and 5'7 and the dress was barely covering my butt and none of my boobs. If you are short and flat, it might work. |
I pretty much agree with OP's assessment. Here's what I have bought over the past year:
Jewelry -- all of it is fantastic. I have the bold hoops, circle ring, mini hoops, beaded hoops, and croissant ring. Bags - I have the work tote and the crossbody - really like them, except the hardware on the crossbody is not holding up well. Clothing - I kept the long sleeve cashmere sweater, linen shorts, and flow knit bike shorts, but returned all the stretch silk stuff I tried (and I tried a lot). I wanted to love the short-sleeve cashmere sweater, but it was too short (and I have a short torso, so I thought for sure it would be perfect for me, it was not). I want to try the cotton velvet quilt and towels, but am hesitant. I do appreciate the free returns though. |
I highly recommend their tiered maxi dress:
https://www.onequince.com/women/cotton-poplin-tiered-maxi-dress?color=black&gender=women It is the EXACT SAME as the best-seller sommerset dress from Antrhopologie. I literally gasped when I saw this because I have paid $168 for the dress at Anthro (it has a cult-following because it looks amazing on almost all body types). Anthro carries it in a million prints and fabrics. But i got the orange and black ones from Quince. Bargain. I also love Quince’s jersey dresses. They are so comfy and have pockets. Also very flattering. Will go back for the cashmere tops and more earrings. |
I got two pairs of their gold hoop earrings that I wear in both sets of holes almost every day now - I sleep and shower in them even. Would def try more of their jewelry.
I got a couple of tank tops last summer that I do not like, however. |
i really wanted to like their jewelry, but what i bought tarnished quickly (post earrings) |
