Well, I know for a fact VRSC started some players training and built them up for their moves to what they felt was a higher level but VRSC started their soccer training to help them get where they wanted to go.
1 I know of is now on the Loudoun ECNL national team.
3 are on the NVA ECNL
Several girls left 2/3 years ago to join GA teams.

So obviously VRSC is producing players that are better than borderline and as a young club they are building programs to keep those players in house so that they don't need to move to other clubs to continue to play at compete at the level that is being produced.

So take your hate fueled opinions and move on.

Loudoun ecnl national and nva are one in the same. You're argument makes no sense but nice try.

Well excuse me for messing that up. I meant national team and regional. You are being a butt about it. My argument does make sense because the players got their training and skills built through VRSC but the continue on at a higher level at that point meant moving on since VRSC is still growing and didn't have it available at that time.

But it doesn't matter because people like you will never see any good at VRSC because you hate the club. Maybe your child wasn't good enough to make any of their teams. That might explain your hate.

Maybe my kid wasn’t good enough to make VRSC? Hahaha, really? I don’t think VRSC turned any players away.

They 100% did. I think you're one of the pissed off valor/Loudoun parents whose kid didn't bump this year because the VRSC players that left the program took their place. I know many bitter families in both clubs. Once again, you're specifically a pathetic little person. I feel bad for your poor children. I hope they are ok in your toxic household.

This was the best response I have read all day!!! I agree 100%

Seriously. I'm not responding to them anymore. No one else should. They just want someone to argue with.

Not either of the PPs but what a dreamer. Maybe in the future. And please keep your own toxic nasty comments to yourself as well.

Don’t feed the troll and they’ll get bored and leave

This weekend's tournament made me so much more appreciative of Raventek. Between the field quality and the open to everyone AC room this wasn't a painfully hot tournament weekend as the memorial Day we went to was.

Saw a lot of the VRSC GA2 teams in the tournament. Have their GA teams played any pre season tournaments?

That’s a nice perk. We missed the amenities when we left the club for one that plays better soccer.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong; they haven't just friendlies, right? We have a coach that also coaches GA. I e not heard about them going to any tournaments before this weekend.

It is really nice to have a good home base for sure. We did not enjoy our game at LS. I didn't realize how poor quality the turf fields were until going back this weekend to play on them again. You don't realize his much fields matter until you get used to playing on nice ones. The actual Raventek building is just an added plus

Very true.

Although I believe it’s been noted on here many times that LS is preparing to replace their turf in the near future, it can’t come soon enough!!! Unfortunately even the fake stuff wears out over time and they’ve had that turf toooo long.

I’m sure it’s in the millions of dollars to replace so not an easy expense to swallow without raising fees… Maybe they charged Revolution enough rent this weekend to cover a good portion of the costs! 😂

not looking for a scholarship but my daughter wants to continue playing in college and doesn't want to go to some unknown mediocre college to do so.

Who’s gonna tell him?

Ha - immediately thought the same thing.

Tell him what?

That your kid is gonna end up playing at Christopher Newport on a 1/8th scholarship.

+1000

And unless your kids is a NT player, just cut your losses and accept it already

we played in the obgc tourney- grass field at one park that had just been aerated and then literally 1980s style turf (i actually think it was indoor / outdoor grass carpet) on a PG county field. i’d take old LS any day over those

MLS Next for next season doesn’t seem very promising based on VA Rev cup performance. VRSC black teams at the core age groups didn’t do very well (2010, 2011, 2012). Still a lot of soccer ahead, but not a good sign out the gate.
