Yes...it's getting old. |
Let's let parents be surprised....I know 3 who are leaving but haven't let admin know yet. They have till June. |
STOP the nonsense....some of these kids are maniacs and the stress is high. We don't just teach-it's balancing many roles and getting paid for one job. And let's not forget we have to baby all of you. |
LOL ok |
Inaccurate and let's not forget FCPS' trick of putting up one job and needing to hire 3-4 teachers-they do it every year to keep you all "calm" |
As a teacher whose quit over the summer, you can still quit in July/August. June 30th is pretty arbitrary and what FCPS would like for notice. |
Cheers to that! |
+1 People who ask ridiculous questions like that have never tried teaching a class full of kids, many of whom have behavioral issues and disrupt the entire class, constantly. If there was any support at all from admin re: punishment/discipline, removal from class, etc. of these kids, perhaps I wouldn't have been a stressed out mess on the verge of a nervous breakdown. |
This is just utterly disgraceful and you have my full sympathies. Funny how the principal offered no help until she was forced to see what was happening herself. That kid should have been removed long ago. DP |
+100 |
Other people have far more demanding jobs. It’s just not their culture to whine and complain about it all the time. |
They won’t, because parents overwhelmingly demand school be free babysitting (and no, the pittance of their personal property taxes earmarked directly for public schools doesn’t come CLOSE to paying for nine months of childcare). |
It’s OK that you’re ignorant, but you probably should stop advertising it publicly. |
Keep running your ignorant yap. Hope your kids enjoy their cadre of rotating unqualified warm body subs. |
True, but there may not be local forums dedicated to constantly degrading them. |
