Infertility Support and Discussion
| I am in the process of having my second miscarriage. Can anyone recommend a fertility specialist? I don't have problems getting pregnant just staying pregnant past 8 weeks. I do have one son. |
| How old are you and where are you located? Good docs are in DC, MD and VA. Also, age is a consideration for who to recommend. |
| I am 35. I would prefer dc. |
| I highly recommend Dr. Preston Sacks at Columbia Fertility in DC. |
| Me too. Best doctor I've ever had!! |
| me three! |
| I went to Dr Gordon in Arlington and he was great. |
| Agree on Dr. Sacks, but Dr. Widra at Shady Grove DC is also good. |
|
I'd also recommend reading 'Coming to Term' it's a great book about miscarriage and may help you formulate questions for your doctor(s). http://www.amazon.com/Coming-Term-Uncovering-Truth-Miscarriage/dp/0618277242
it's written by a widely respected science journalist. |
| Another Dr. Sacks fan here--best RE in area. |
| A huge Dr Gordon Fan |
| book ordered thanks. |
|
anyone read 100 questions about infertility?
|
| Dr. Widra at Shady Grove Fertility - he is fabulous! |
| Dr. Rifka at Columbia Fertility...also Dr. Sacks there! I've had a very good experience with them both. Dr. Rifka is a straight shooter and direct, but I like that about him |
