Arlington school boundary map?

Where can I find an Arlington MS/HS boundary map that shows roads? I know where the boundary locator is online, but I want to just be able to look at a school boundary map superimposed on the road map. Thanks!

That no longer exists. They used to print one out (as an online PDF) but stopped after the large middle and high school boundary change in 2018. Some of the boundary lines actually go between housing lots so it can get really confusing. There is no way to visualize it. Just plop in an address.

I think maybe what OP is looking for is to be able to actually READ the road names. I know the boundaries close to my house, and what the roads are that are a cutoff. But the PDF doesn't have enough clarity to read the road names.

If you live in the County it shouldn't be that hard to figure it out.

Don't be a jerk. Maybe OP is looking to move from outside Arlington, or to another part of the county that is unfamiliar. In many cases, the lines go right through neighborhoods or down the middle of streets so even if you recognize the street it might not be 100% clear if something is right on the margins.

Yes, that's right - we are considering moving and I want to be able to clearly see the school zones.

OP here. I feel like I used that once to generate the boundary map but haven't been able to reproduce it.

Just keep in mind the middle and high school boundaries may change again in 7 to 10 years depending on the new Arlington Tech High School (which is a lottery option school) and/or the continued substantial growth of students in the southern part of the county. I think there were discussions on making an Arlington Tech middle school program as well.

I think it will change more frequently. They have some schools that are under capacity and others that were over, so as people shift around, so will the boundaries.

Nope. They are going to stuff kids at WL; they will get plenty of transfers from the other schools to use that 600+ addition eventually

Growth is in the south not the north. If I had to guess, even more North Arlington neighborhoods will move to Yorktown, and more South Arlington neighborhoods will move to W-L. This trend predates Covid and is getting worse. Wakefield now has trailers.

#XLW-L is the answer. What central PL would fight being moved from WK to WL? Or they can just accept more transfers or IB students.
