What should I order for this get-together?

Our friend group has five couples, and we're hosting everyone next weekend (Friday night, probably 7-11ish). Typical get-togethers are nothing fancy, usually BBQ or various small plates to snack on. I am a terrible cook and don't have time to cook the day they're coming over anyway. What should I feed our guests? I assume it would be monstrous to get pizza?

Get a tray or two of lasagna or baked pasta. Add some garlic bread and a nice green salad. Classic, easy, not pizza. Or make a pot of chili in the slow cooker and some Jiffy cornbread.

Badluccis does a really good Mediterranean platter deal with lots of dips, meat, salads, pita… and they deliver.

You could get catering taco packs from Taco Bamba or Bar Taco. Or Magiannos meal for 8 but get an extra main dish and extra desserts.

Pulled pork in the crock pot. I would make it the day before and simply reheat. Serve on Hawaiian rolls. Sides could be coleslaw, potato salad, fruit and dessert.

I'd be fine with pizza! Get a salad to go with it.
We ordered District Taco catering for a dinner like this and everyone loved it.

Make Thai food.

Easiest and quickest to make, delicious, exotic and most cost effective.

Pad thai with shrimp, panang curry with beef, rice - all of these can be made ahead from readily available pastes etc. - Entrees.

Make or order some chicken satay, spring rolls, thai barbeque wings and papaya salad - as appetizers.

Singa beer.

Litchi or mango served with vanilla icecream. Done.

Maybe fajitas from Uncle Julio’s. Good for letting everyone customize. You can get some chicken and some steak, and there will be lots of veggies as well.

You can get pizza, just order “nicer” pizza and make a large salad.

Adding on to the ideas that others have said - a platter or selection of stuff from Lebanese taverna (if you are near arlington, you could go to thier market)

Sushi boat. Done!

Order a couple of family platters from Moby Dick’s.
