Seeking school and neighborhood recommendations

Anonymous
Hi all,

Looking for recommendations for school clusters within about an hour drive to Arlington without traffic (I don't work there, my son's father does so need to be drivable to him). I work remotely. My son will be going into K next year and looking for something more affordable than MoCo with good services for twice exceptional students. My son likely will get a mild autism diagnosis soon and may or may not need any services but want to consider that, as well as offerings for gifted programming. Mostly concerned about supportive staff and teachers than I am test scores and rankings. Just want something solid but laid back, not so much homework and pressure (considering k-12). Will likely need a townhome, budget around 400k. For neighborhood would love a nice community feel with young families.

Thanks!

This is likely the wrong board. You need to ask in the Fairfax County board.
