Jury Duty for college students

| Have your college students been summoned for jury duty? How did they handle it? DD is attending an out of state college (1K miles away) and I can't see how she would be able to report for jury duty (she's supposed to call the evening before to find out if she needs to appear, and she needs to do that every week for 1 month) |

| Yes, my DC did and was able to get out of it easily. I forget if he had to call or fill out a form - but it was an easy process. |

| Request a postponement to the next time the student plans to be home for a month, probably Summer 2023. |

| This just happened to my teen. The notice she received in the mail had a link to an online form that included a question about being a student/in college with date through graduation. This immediately disqualified her from jury duty during that time period. |
