| We have a bunch of family in town this weekend and want to reduce time in the kitchen by getting some good spreads for brunch/lunch. Basically everyone (but not everyone) will be vegetarian. Any ideas for good place to get sand which trays that are vegetarian? The Wegman ones seem mostly meaty. Any great place to get a bunch of falafels and fixings? Other ideas? |

Indian take outs. Ask for the restaurant's catering options.
Samosas, Dhokla, Spinach Chaat for appetizers Aloo Gobi, Daal Tadka, Vegetable Pilaf, Butter Paneer, Naan for the main course Carrot Halwa, Rice Pudding and Gulab Jamun for desserts Sweet fennel seeds for mouth freshener in the end. |
| Not sandwiches, but look into Mediterranean type places - Lebanese Taverna, Moby Dick, etc. They have family style options and lots of vegetarian options. |
| Ethiopian or Indian. I'd prefer Ethiopian because it's more of a DC thing for out of towners. |
| Chick fill a nuggets tray are good for your meat eaters. |
| Can you prep in advance and then just heat the day of? Eggplant parm and stuffed bell peppers are big hits with us. |

You may be able to get vegetarian trays from Lebanese taverna.
Since you mentioned wegmans, you could buy a vegetable tray., fruit tray, cheese tray, and buy some olives, hummus and fresh bread. It might be harder to figure out what is enough. |
| Roti or Cava! |
| Cava catering. |

Love this place. I linked the specifically vegetarian options, but they have meat dishes, vegan options, lots of variety.

| Vegetarian taco bar |

Lebanese Taverna would be my idea too.
Also … chipotle catering! Cost effective and you can get rice, beans, veggies and sofritas plus guacamole and cheese - great and filling and gives everyone multiple options to build their meal from. |
| Lebanese Taverna for sure. I love Ethiopian and Indian, but not for a group brunch/lunch |
| Cava. |
| Cava doesn’t have great veg proteins. Do Mexican, Chinese orIndian. |
