Planning a family trip for Summer 2023.

We loved eastern Mallorca. Totally different experience from Magalouf and the west side of the island.

What kind of beach are you looking for? Lots of sand and expansive views? Or maybe cute small town? We really liked Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugel, about a 90 minute drive northeast of Barcelona-. The "cute small town" type.

On the mainland side we loved Begur.

San Sebastián is great: beautiful old city, hills, nice beaches, amazing food. The water is probably a bit colder, and the weather not as reliable, as further south.
