My mom died from colorectal cancer. She ignored her symptoms for months and it was already stage 4 by the time she was diagnosed.

Really? My mother, my husband and my son have chronic constipation. They've had it all their lives. There is no history of cancer in the family apart from breast cancer. I don't think their risk of colon cancer is particularly elevated because of their constipation. And my husband is a doctor. He's not worried.
