Why do I always get sick after eating Rice Krispies?

Happened again yesterday. Upset stomach immediately after eating.

Allergy to gluten, wheat, marshmallows or butter?

Are you eating with milk? That is the more likely culprit, if so.

Prediabetic insulin resistance with too much sugar load.

Thin or thick people can have insulin resistance, BTW. Just more likely if you are chunky.

It's not real food.

What? It only has 4 grams of sugar.

Completely incorrect. Rice crispies has less sugar than nearly every other cereal. You guys are thinking about rice crispie treats!

Wrong. There is about 13 grams of sugar in a cup of 1% milk, and about 3.3 grams in a serving of rice crispies. That's 16.3 grams, which is getting comparable to a Snickers bar at 20 grams.

Or were you thinking she was eating them dry? OP, were you eating the cereal just dry?

If you are eating them dry. Maybe OP does that. I presume she will clarify soon.

If a glass of milk is “way too much sugar,” this thread is off the rails
