Looking for a new lunch container

Anonymous
My daughter is on the autism spectrum and only likes hot meals for lunch. Last year, I packed warm foods in a thermos but she had trouble reaching a fork down to the bottom through the narrow circular top opening, so I gave her a plate and she would dump the thermos contents onto it. Then I packed fruit on the side. This worked okay, but I'm wondering if there's a good product that keeps food warm but opens like a tv tray, so we don't have to deal with dumping, missing the plate and making a mess, cleaning an extra item, etc. And for the new item to fit into another container so that fruit and a dessert can be packed on the side. And for the new item to really keep foods warm -- with the thermos, I would pre-heat with boiling water. Thanks for any ideas.

As an aside -- her brother is a more typical lunch eater and he has used a planet box for 8 years and it looks brand new. If anyone clicked this post looking for something like that, I highly recommend.

Maybe a wide thermos?
We have this: S'nack by S'well Stainless Steel Food Container - 10oz - Pink Punch - Double-Layered Insulated Bowls Keep Food and Drinks Cold for 10 Hours and Hot for 4 Hours https://a.co/d/hOCConD

And use it for pasta for lunch.

I was going to suggest Planet Box but looks like you have that covered. They’re running a 30% off back to school sale now.
