| I have been trying to find a new internist who has good reviews, is taking new patients and will accept my insurance. I have had no luck so I am turning to DCUM to help me find a concierge doctor in upper NW or MD. Someone who is taking new patients. Any suggestions? |
| Dr. Adam Possner in Rockville has very good reviews. |
Not taking new patients. Any others? |
| Really? No other good doctors in the area accepting new patients? No one else willing to share a name? |
| My spouse goes to Dr. Robert J. Ginsberg in Burtonsville, MD. They like Dr. Ginsberg. I have no idea if he is taking new patients, so you'd have to call and ask. |

Thank you for Dr Ginsberg's name. I am actually looking for a younger doctor since over COVID, I had my PCP, gyn and my dentist all retire on me.
Any recommendations for younger (55 and under) doctors, concierge or not? |

| Don't know where you are located, but you could consider William Condrell in Spring Valley. |
|
I'm in CH CH, so NW or Mont County is good. I read that most patients of Dr Condrell's usually see the PA or MP. Is that your experience?

I'm the person that recommended Dr. Ginsberg. When my wife was looking, the other doctor's that she found near us were all in Columbia or Ellicott City. She picked Dr. Ginsberg as the southern-most in our area search area. Sorry and good luck. |
| Could find someone with One Medical-- they picked up some dr's recently with their new Bethesda offices. |
| Concierge practices are a scam. Just be more high maintenance at your regular pcp. Go in with a lists of tests you expect to have. I looked up what an executive well exam had and just asked for a lot of it. |

Two daughters took over the practice from their father. I've always been healthy and only needed to see OB/Gyn regularly. When I hit 50 I had been looking for a good PCP to switch to but had a really hard time finding a good practice taking patients. Had just started here, when they switched to Concierge right before Covid. I decided to stay as "insurance" in case of needing consistent care (which I didn't). I'm very happy I did because it is nice to be able to spend an actual hour discussing every little thing and getting recommendations for screening or evaluations by specialists. Concierge care is a luxury I'm willing to pay for now so that as I age, someone really knows me and can manage/coordinate my care if I develop bigger health issues. |

So, what's the name of this doctor who puts up with your demands? |
| Darcy Hansen. Good doctor, really listens and wants to get to the bottom of things. |
