Hershey Park for Labor Day weekend?

Are crowds likely to be insane at the amusement park? We've never been there but have plans to be in the area for another event. Would probably skip the water park and chocolate world.

In early August they were doing a buy two get one free online special good until Labor Day so it will probably be a show. FWIW I've never been either and bought for Labor Day weekend anyway since I felt it was a solid deal. I will also be in the area for something else.

Do they still have shortened hours? Last year they did and we made the mistake of going. Never again.

It will be insane. Best time go to is the Sunday after labor day- went this day last year and it was amazing.

Chocolate world ride is beyond lame and never worth it.

We'll be I the area as well to see David at sight and sound. Trying to debate if we should do one of the parks on Sunday or not.

I was looking to take my son in October and its 2pm-9pm which seemed odd, but there summer hours are better. 11am-7pm (8pm weekdays). Shorter but better?
