Or can he keep his target brand tighty whities? I’m worried that he’s going to get made fun of, but he doesn’t want the briefs. He will have to change for PE. |
Sorry, 6th |
"Tighty Whities" are briefs.
Why not buy him a selection of different styles--from shorter boxer shorts, to longer boxer shorts, and even just regular boxers....and let him choose what he likes? |
He likes the tighty whities and wants to wear those. I’m worried kids will make fun of him. |
Maybe you can sell him some colors other than white? |
They aren’t actually white. Is that less embarrassing? Maybe kids aren’t mean like they were when I was 12. |
If your kid is happy with the white briefs, then leave him alone: he's told you what he wants.
Not sure I understand why you're focused on his underwear and how it affects his social life. Ease up on him and yourself. If it proves to be an issue, deal with it when happens. |
Let him be on his choice of underwear. If he changes his mind because somebody has made a comment you can be ready with a couple of options for him to try and see what feels comfortable to him. My son wears boxer briefs and never liked boxers because they would ride up in the pant leg. It’s a matter of individual comfort. |
