Anybody work in clinical research?

I’m job hunting and just noticed a local clinical research company posted a slew of entryish level positions I may be qualified for. It sounds really interesting and I love the idea of being involved in the approval of medication and treatments that change people’s lives. Is this a good career path?

There are a lot of aspects to to working in clinical research. A friend was working directly with the patients, qualifying them for the study, administering treatments, etc. She preferred regular practice with more relationship building and treating diverse issues and went back to that.
