Question about DC Public Library Summer Reading Program

For the August prize, do kids actually get the free Nats tickets (vouchers), or are they just entered into a drawing for them?
I am asking because the webpage shows prizes for each month, but at least for June, it's really just being entered into a drawing-- you don't actually get the prize for completing the activities. Thanks in advance.

Drawing fool damn

The kids get the vouchers for the tickets. Most of the area library systems have this agreement with the Nats. It is not a prize drawing.

Thanks… I know it’s been this way in the past, but I found the website very confusing this year… for example, is the reading even required to get prizes, or just the “activities”? Does one need to complete the June & July activities to get the August prize (Nats tickets)? It’s just not very clearly stated.

Ask the children's librarian. Ours pulled up our kids beanstalk accounts where they logged their reading and gave us Nats vouchers. Adults can log their books or reading timer too to get more vouchers.

Thanks. Did your kids complete & mark off 12 of the “activities” as well?
