MCPS HS sports - parent jobs

DC is playing JV soccer this fall. They need volunteers for team manager, booster club reps and snack bar. We’re happy to help and I’m considering team manager but would like to understand the commitment and responsibilities. If you’ve volunteered in one of these capacities in MCPS, I’d be grateful if you could share what it entailed.

You're in charge of equipments

I think that’s the student manager and not a parent. But maybe I’m wrong.

DC's school team has a student manager who helps with equipment and water but I'm not sure about the parents.

If you care about ethics, you may want to avoid the manager job - especially at the Bethesda schools. You become the conduit for carrying out the coach's ethics violations.
