Is it the mystery? The cinematography? Characters? There are movies that can capture different things you like about those movies.

There’s a spoof of scandi noir shows that is in similar vein and I loved it. It’s called Fallet. Shaun of the dead is good too.

wouldnt be made today. But I like the movie. A similar style but totally different plot movie is the cheap detective which is a parody of bogart type movies . People who like STNG will really get it

I know this is not a movie but there are only murders in the building. A Netflix series with Martin short Steve Martin and Serena Gomez was excellent
