Store-bought cupcakes that specifically say "no nuts"

Anonymous
Where can I purchase cupcakes or other similar birthday treat that is specifically labeled no nuts, processed in a facility that is nut-free, etc? I feel like this was easier 10 years ago, but not as readily available now. My youngest has a bday coming up and there are several allergies in her class so the teacher has to be very strict. Ice cream cups are not an option due to lack of storage space. What can I pick up in Nova this week for a class celebration?

Giant and safeway both generally have them as well as other chain grocery stores.

You could do a non food treat alternative like some fun pencils and erasers.

Pencils and erasers? Kids have plenty of them. Not a birthday treat.

Donuts are a fun birthday treat that tend to be nut free.

Nooooo. Very few donuts, if any, are nut free, from an allergy perspective.

OP - look for School Safe at Whole Foods. Or Just Dessert brand from giant and Safeway. There are also some cupcakes that say “no peanuts” but that won’t work for tree nut allergies.
