| Better than Damascus. |
| They have a great principal. But my child isn't there, so I'm not sure how the past year went, post-COVID. I do have friends with kids there and they've been happy. |
Big turn over in staff every year. Not sure what that indicates. |
| My neighbor works there and has for many years. I've heard good things. It's well-balanced, it seems. If I had to live in MoCo and use public I would consider it. |
Completely agree |
| I have a friend who lives in Clarksburg and is zoned for Clarksburg HS. She has “ heard” that a lot of section 8 kids go there from “ the other side of 270” and is seriously thinking of moving. I personally have heard good things and would send my kid if we lived there. I’m zoned for Paint Branch though so section 8 kids don’t bother me. |
| Some teachers leave a lot to be desired |
That is true for any school. Some teachers are super amazing. Some are meeting expectations. Some are way below expectations. I wonder if the turnover of staff includes the super amazing teachers or the ones performing below expectations. Hopefully, the teachers working below expectations are the ones leaving. |

It’s middle of the road
Unless you work out that way why |
Well, the only solution on the table for Clarksburg's significant overcrowding is to rezone hundreds of students to Damascus. That's why they're building an addition there. |
A bunch of Clarksburg area was supposed to go to Seneca Valley. That didn't happen? |
That did happen, but there are still about 400 too many students at Clarksburg. |
