Should I be concerned about this unusual bleeding (not pregnant-not ttc)?

Anonymous
My period has been religiously regular since I first got it. I'm talking definitely every 28 days and almost predictable down to the time. My period ended about two weeks ago. DH and I did the deed either Sunday night. Last night and this morning I have been having light spotting. I have NEVER spotted between periods. I have Kyleena IUD, two kids ages 4 and 1, and we have been set on being done.

Should I be concerned that could be implantation bleeding? I know it's risky to get pregnant on an IUD.

I feel like a 15yo posting this, but DH and I have been together since we were 18 and never had any sort of pregnancy scare. I've never even taken a pregnancy test outside of the two times we were TTC (which happened first try each time).

Easy my mind or confirm my anxiety, DCUM.

I just had this despite lactational amenorrhea and then I came down with covid. It appears to be my first symptom of covid.

Oh interestering. I have heard from several friends that it changed their cycle now that you mention it. My DH also was congested over the weekend. Hm, thanks.

btw I did not test positive but dh did. Those rapid tests have a high false neg rate. DH's was strong positive as soon as the test fluid hit the line. So test everyone in the house.

This can be a sign of any number of conditions ranging from benign to very serious, so *if* it persists (and the pregnancy tests are negative), I would definitely make an appointment with a gynecologist.

I spot after intercourse now and never used to do so. I got my first IUD (copper) after giving birth, so it's hard to say whether it's because of having a child or because of the IUD, but it's a regular thing for me now

Ask your doctor. Obviously.
