Apple’s security breach/updates needed

I put something in tech about it but I’m not sure it’s going to get the exposure it needs. Apple is now telling people to update to the latest version to protect against the security hack, which allows a hacker to take control of your system. Very rare for Apple. Forbes just put out an article about 30 minutes ago. Is there a way for you to warn the forum members outside of tech forum?
