| I have about 100 books of DD’sat the fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade level that I would like to find a good home for. Any ideas of a specific place where I could make a charitable donation of these books? |
| Goodwill or a teen shelter. |
| An elementary school where teachers need books for their classroom libraries. |
| Why not just post to a free Facebook group it will still go to kids that can use them. |
| One of the poor elem schools in your area. Barcroft, carlin Springs, Barrett, or Randolph in Arlington could all use them. |
|
Does anyone know if there is a map for Little Free Libraries? You can drop off 5-10 books at a bunch of them in less affluent areas.
I know there was a boy scout who did an Eagle Project a few years ago and put up a bunch of these around Brightwood DC |
| Lupus will pick those up. |
| Comfort cases |
| You can also donate them to friends of the Library. It is charitable and they resell them for 50 cents each for kids books usually, use the proceeds for the library |
|
i would donate to a less fortunate school. teachers can put in their libraries or give books away to kids.
