Any of you readers own a Porsche Panamera? If how has it held up? Apart from regular maintenance and wear/tear items, how reliable has the car been, any major issues?

I had a 2017 Cayenne Turbo and it was a pile of crap. Only other Porsche prior to that was an ‘83 911, which was my dream car as a kid and bought just as soon as I could afford one in 2001. That was a great car. Should’ve kept it, as they’re now selling for almost 4x what I paid for it back then.
The Cayenne was garbage. 3 sets of brakes (rotors, pads AND calipers) in 90k miles. Transmission issues, electrical problems (door locks, wipers, entertainment center), sunroof leaked… the whole car was such a disappointment. Will never own a Porsche made after the 911/964 They’re sh!t now. |
Not my experience. I have a 2016 Cayenne and it's running great. No problems at all. Porsches are the most reliable luxury cars. |

Why would anyone get a Porsche sedan?
I don’t get it. |
Why would anyone get a Porsche SUV? I don’t get it. |
Why would anyone get a Porsche made after 1994? I don’t get it. |
|
I have a 2019 panamera 4s (or maybe turbo. How can I tell? The screen says 4s but husband thinks turbo)
Anyway, it's fine. Fun to drive. |
What happened in or after 1994? |
Hate to break it to your DH, but that’s a 4S… lol. |
Because the 993s were simply unbeatable. |
So...No..You do not have any ownership experience with this car whatsoever. Thanks! Troll. |
1) I clearly have more experience with Porsches than you do, having owned several of them (I didn’t mention the 914 and 944, and the 918 I also owned prior) 2) it’s relevant because the two platforms share brake components, similar ECU’s, electronics, solenoids, actuators, wiring harnesses and hardware/firmware. 3) you obviously don’t understand what the word “troll” means But you definitely think you know better, so good luck with your purchase. |
I don't think PP realizes that it's normal to own a fun Porshe (be it something classic or a modern 911) and then a BMW or Merc family SUV or a sedan. Different companies do different things well. Porsche makes really fun rear engine sports cars and they do it really well. Other companies make very nice sedans and do it very well. |
You CLEARLY have no idea what ownership experience anyone has - so STFU It's not relevant to the OP request. You = troll |
Yeah - that’s a slippery slope to sedan. I cringe every time I see one. |
