We are considering the two preschools for our little one and wanted to know what the experience was like out there. We are moving from West coast so would love to get to know the other moms. Which school has a better community. I am a SAHM and we are centrally located to both the schools. Thanks in Advance.

Our DD went to preschool at the Country Day School. We loved it. The teachers are very warm and welcoming. We've also become friendly with a few families. I don't know anything about Little Grave's play group though so I can't compare I will say that I don't know of any families at Country Day who don't live in VA, so if you are coming from MD/DC keep that in mind. Most families seem to live in either McLean or Arlington. |
Little Graces isn’t a school - it’s a playgroup so you or a nanny have to be there at all times. Little Graces is very neighborhood centric to Spring Valley and Kent. I think it would be a little strange to go outside if that area but our kids didn’t go due to Covid so I could be wrong. Most kids continue to preschool at 2 or 4 (likely Metropolitan, St Columba or NCRC). |
