Exercise after being sick

I am getting over a cold, not covid, my lungs are fine but my nose is still runny. I get exhausted with colds and mostly stayed in bed for a few days. When I go out to exercise again should I take it easy or pick up where I left off? I think I'll go on Saturday.

Just follow your body. Start out gently and see what you feel like doing/feel capable of doing. I don't think it matters beyond that...

Take it easy. Work your way back up, and go grandma-style by shoving some tissues up your sleeve in case your nose tries to run away from you.

Take it easy. There is nothing to be gained from pushing while you're sick. Absolutely nothing. Heck, even if you're off for a full week or two, what's that in the grand scheme of things?
