As much as I love being large and slow during this sticky nasty weather, I started light spotting today and babe is doing somersaults in my deep pelvis area, so increased pressure very low. It’s here right?!?! It’s going to come any day now instead of in 3 weeks until on due date?
37 weeks today.

Seriously though, this isn’t mucus plug just light spotting and I’m curious what that meant for you all - am I hours or days away or could I still go all the way to end of August?

My water broke at 37+2 twice and I knew it was soon both times. Walk a lot. If you find yourself super sleepy that was my big clue.

Sorry to say it could definitely still be weeks away... no way to know! I promise it will come and man I can imagine it's tough right now with this weather. But neither of those things jump out to me as anything that indicates being imminent.. sorry!

Doesn't mean it WON'T be but more likely a few more weeks

37 weeks is still really early. Probably not.

Light spotting could very well be the start of bloody show. And 37 weeks is definitely possible. With my second I started contracting at 37+6, bloody show at 38+2, baby on the morning of 38+4. I’m praying for you 🤣

I had my first at 37+3

...2 days after my doctor told me it could be 3 or even 4 weeks away.

When I had light spotting I had a baby 2 days later. Also 37 weeks. What did your doctor say at your 36 week appointment? My doctor said she could feel baby’s head because he was very low already, and that I should of course schedule my 37 week appointment but that I might not make it - and I didn’t, my baby was born on the day that my 37 week appointment was supposed to happen!

I had so much bleeding/spotting at around 36/37 weeks with my 3rd we did a precautionary ultrasound. The tech was not amused and thought I was insane. Anyway I had baby at 38 weeks on the dot.

With my second I lost my mucus plug and had bloody show in random pieces over two days at 35 + 4/5. Delivered on 36 weeks exactly.

I wished both pregnancies that they would come early and they didn't. Even though you're not comfortable, enjoy a few weeks of sleeping (yes it's uncomfortable but at least there isn't a screaming baby next to you) and have a few date nights with your DH.
