Yikes I scored a 4 as a junior and didn’t think I was particularly good at math

How does an AP score affect GPA? Just do not send the score.

my bad. grade is B-. try to remove from transcript still?

I doubt you can get anything off a transcript. Call the college counselor

Too late, it's there.

My DD got a C+ and a 2 on the test, but this was when covid hit and virtual class was a mess for her.

She needs calc for her major, took it this summer at NOVA and got an A. All is not lost.

If only I could have removed all my bad grades from my transcript...

Do AP scores show up in ParentVue in MCPS?

How do you remove an earned grade from a transcript?l

Even discussing doing such a thing sends a message to your child that anything less than perfection is failure and failure must be hidden.

Which school system is this? In MCPS the AP score doesn’t factor into your class grade. You could choose not to report the score to colleges (although they will see you took the class).

+1 It also sends the message that the grading system is there to be manipulated and not to reflect actual performance.

AP scores don't affect GPA. No one sees them unless you submit them to a college. Sadly OP your DC already had a terrible grade for the class. Not a STEM kid.
