Hi Jeff, there is a very active thread in the political forum that uses this reference in its title in regard to our last President. I can only assume you haven’t seen, as it represents a new low on this site in terms of political bias and pettiness. And I believe it also violates your forum prohibition on personal attacks. So can you please remove it? Otherwise, if there has been some recent rule change and if it is now in fact permissible to start threads with subjects such as “Joey Droolcloth” or “Barry Incompetent,” then that would be helpful for all to know. Thanks Jeff.

Trump, uniquely among US presidents to my knowledge, was famous for creating nicknames for his opponents. Have you forgotten about Little Marco, Lying Ted, or Sleepy Joe? As such, I think it is rather fitting to violate our norms, just as Trump routinely violated norms, in this case.

Also, I assume that you are a guilt-ridden liberal because no "f your feelings" conservative would ever start a thread such as this.

OP here. Fair enough. Seems like blatant hypocrisy and a clear double standard, but at least you don’t try to hide it anymore.

In any event, we all know Trump has a unique style and ability that usually backfires terribly when others try to replicate it (see Hillary’s failed attempts to trash talk during the debates). The same goes with political stunts, and my guess is that this DOJ will actually just propel him back into the presidency. He relishes every minute of the attention, so you’re just giving him what he wants.

And oh yeah, conservatives have feelings too.

Clearly not if you still support Trump.

He literally goes after children.please explain why you are so offended for the man .

I can copy and paste all the horrific things he has called people. While two wrongs usually do not make a right exception in this case.

Thanks for telling us all you support a criminal traitor Nazi. Yes Nazi CPAC says that loud and clear statement of fact not to mention his words vocabulary at his last rally straight out of Mein Kampf so if you have a problem with name calling or vocabulary I suggest you start right at your source.

Oh dear, we have a live one here. Trump Derangement Syndrome (or TDS) is very real, and speaks to the power of the man and brand that the he still completely dominates American politics over a year and a half after leaving office. Anyway, this is not a political thread, but rather a website feedback thread addressing forum rules regarding personal attacks and insults. I am sure you already have spread plenty of vitriol in the political thread I referenced. There is no reason to do it here (although I’m sure you rant and rave to anyone who listens).

Yeah, Trump took classified documents home on purpose because he wanted the FBI to come after him. So you can either delete the thread that calls him derogatory names, like he wants, or you can leave it up and give him more attention, which is also giving him what he wants. Either way, Trump wins and you lose!

OP here. Yes, exactly. Trump always wins, and it literally drives liberals insane. Sadly their insanity has led our country in a very dark direction, with our branches of government now at war with each other, and our federal government setting very dangerous precedents. All because they can’t stand one man. It’s truly incredible. At least in the 80s, Ivana and the NY Post were in on the game. This is scary.

NP. "Feelings" as in concern that only applies to white people of privilege aren't of consequence.

Right, because Nancy Pelosi isn’t rich or white. Think harder please.

Then perhaps conservatives shouldn't have popularized the phrase "f#$& your feelings."

Or maybe they only thought it would be applied to their political adversaries and not themselves.

Perhaps the Republican party should consider nominating candidates that respect norms and don't use inflammatory rhetoric and insulting nicknames.
