Help me find an engagement party dress for my 70 year old mom

Mom, 70, wants an engagement party dress. She is 70, pear shaped, and dresses fairly conservatively. It’s an early afternoon party in early September and she doesn’t want to wear navy or black, and she struck out at Talbots this year. Any suggestions?

NP. An awful choice for a 70 year old, unless she's skinny, doesn't need a bra, and has uncommonly beautiful back skin. All unlikely at 70

Op. Regardless of the style, I think she doesn’t want to wear white. It’s also a teeny bit young.
