How to use up stale rice cakes

Anonymous
What can I do with stale rice cakes? They're not as crunchy as they should be but I don't want to throw them away. I tried using them in meatballs but they didn't really work right.

What can I do with them, other than throw them away? I have half a dozen packages so I'd like to come up with a use for them.

TIA

How about lightly toasting them, then crunching them up and mixing them with something sticky/sweet to make something similar to a popcorn ball?

Eat them normally? I like to spread avocado on them.

Good idea!

Are they plain or flavored?

I don't intend to sound mean, but yuck. Just throw them away.

Did you Google "how to use stale rice cakes"? That's a start.

They're plain, both salted and unsalted.

I’d do peanut butter rice krispy treats, just crush up what you have and replace rice Krispy.

They're really not very crunchy anymore but I'll look that recipe up. Thanks.

Hang them from a tree to feed the birds

This is why people need to to stop with Costco.

This is good. Also consider putting in homemade granola.

Rice cakes are flammable, not sure this is best idea. I would put in fridge to see if they dry out some.

I would try a slice of cheese, microwave for a few seconds, seasoning salt. Or tuna
