Spring Valley Exxon OOB?

is the Spring Valley Exxon on Mass actually out of biz? My neighbor said she went for gas this afternoon and found a note on the door. So hope not. Say what you will about the cost but the guys there have come through for me a couple times when it’s really been important that I have a working vehicle!

Metro Motors seems to be buying all the desireable service stations in the area... maybe they bought the Spring Valley Exxon.

I work a few blocks away and rarely if ever saw cars getting gas there due to the exorbitant prices. Not surprised they went under.

Wow, interesting news. I live within .5 miles of that place and would routinely drive 1 mile out of the way to get gas elsewhere. The prices were absurdly high for years.

The car repairs were very reasonable and good. This is a major loss.

We just had our car repaired there. They were very helpful. While the gas was expensive, the guys working there were very helpful. The older gentleman who did full serve was always so helpful, I hope the employees are okay.

There was a post on Nextdoor about this. The owner retired and the former manager is hoping to buy it.

The station wasn't profitable, even though it would seem to me that it was-- love the guys and the ability to walk to the station when my car needed an oil change. Currently trying to find a buyer for the station.
