| I just bought the toaster oven/air fryer combo but am thinking of returning it because I realized that the interior is non stick. Even though the racks and air fryer basket are stainless steel, the interior of the oven is non stick. Is this is a health concern? |
| I would return it and get one that’s entirely stainless steel. |
| The problem is these ovens are great but terrible to clean when used as an AirFryer. Just grease spittle all over. |
Yes that is another concern I have. I’m worried it will be impossible to clean if I roast chicken in it. It’s also pretty big so having it clean is a priority. |
I’ve roasted chicken on the roast setting and that’s ok. But when we upgraded to the air fry and tried to air fry fries, for example, it was a mess. Maybe normal air frying food (like salmon, not French fries) would be fine. This breville is by far the most used appliance in our kitchen. |
And you are not concerned with the non stick interior? Also, how do you clean it after air frying fries? I literally bought it primarily for fries! |
I think the only hope of cleaning it is with the nonstick interior. I feel some comfort that the nonstick won’t chip of or scratch, like it might in a Teflon pan. I guess I’d be surprised if they sold a SS airfryer. But maybe I just don’t know how to clean SS properly. |
| We chose to get a different countertop convection oven that all stainless steel. |
Can you pls recommend yours |
The Equipex (Sodir) FC-26 cookie oven. We've had it for almost 10 years and use it every day. I bought a used one. |
Does it AirFry? |
If it was purchased ten years ago then probably not. |
Right and op said she’d “literally bought it primarily for fries”. |
