Avg cost of pre school in Arlington/pentagon city?

Trying to enroll my daughter in a preschool program in Pentagon city. I only found two options- busy bee and Everbrook. Does anyone know the average cost?

The question is do you need childcare all day while you work (daycare with a preschool component) or just preschool for the socialization and learning for a few hours per week. The costs are very different.

Not working right now but would start off with just preschool and eventual daycare. Would need costs for both to get an idea of what to expect: thank you!!

Our preschool had after care until 6. We paid 2500/mo.

Preschool is 9-1 for 3.5 year olds? And how much is that? I’m assuming preschool with daycare is about $2000 and up?

OP, you need to clarify if you want full time care or part time care.

There are many preschool programs that also provide full time care. There are some preschools that are made for SAHMs or nanny families, where it’s a part time program bc those families have other care plans.

There is one poster who will fight to the death that you can’t call a full day program “preschool” despite that being incredibly common in this area. The terms to use are “full time” or “part time” if you’d like to distinguish what type of care you are looking for. It’s all preschool once the kids hit about age 3.

Yep adding to the mix that there are half day programs with after school/aftercare programs and optional activities in the afternoon too. Some of the kids go home at 1 pm and others stay later with these programs.

My kids went to Faith Lutheran Preschool in Arlington and I just drove past there today and saw a sign that they still had openings for the school year. It's a traditional part-time preschool. $415/mo for 3-days/week for 3 year olds. A bit more for 4-days/week for 4 year olds.

Yes, you should budget around $2000/mo for full day for a 3.5 year old. It might be a bit more or less depending on where you go.
