| Can anyone recommend a meal service or a personal chef that can prepare weeks (dinner) for about 5 weeks and deliver them to our house? We have extra responsibilities for 5 weeks this fall and could use some help with meal prep and dinner. Ideally, someone would drop off pre-made meals on Sundays that would cover 3-4 dinners that week. This is for two parents and two children. We have tried task rabbit, google, and have not found anything that fits the bill. TIA. |
| Where are you? |
| Hire a sitter that will also cook for you. |
| Just use something like freshly. Only have to heat them up. |
| Can’t you meal prep and freeze things for that time. This mixed with some easy sandwiches or crock pot meals should be able to get you through 5 weeks. |
| This is OP. We are in DC. No, we cannot cook and prep for 5 weeks of meals in advance. Thanks for the suggestion. |
Can’t you read? She doesn’t want your crock pot suggestions. Just answer the question. OP, maybe you could post on your local listserv? |
| Don’t be lazy OP just feed your family like normal. |

You basically want a personal chef for a short term basis. Not sure if any would do it, but Google personal chef and DC and see what you find. It will cost you though.
I would just order take out and pick it up on your way home from work or have it delivered (even with delivery and tip, probably cheaper than a personal chef). |
Don’t be nasty. Your IP address is attached to your posts and one days your grandkids will see them and realize you’re an a**hole. |

The Italian Gourmet has family Italian meals
Maggie’s Scorpio Restaurant has family roast chicken and sides Moby Dick has family meals with kebabs Bartaco has family meal taco kits BJ’s brewpub has family meals |
| Just buy pre-made family-sized warm-up meals from Whole Foods or Wegmans on Sundays and keep them for the week. FreshDirect used to have some good options but unfortunately most have disappeared since they changed ownership. |
