If you use color protecting shampoo

Do you find it leaves your hair greasy and/or with buildup? My stylist told me "yes, those shampoos do leave you with buildup." You should use a bit of clarifying shampoo like Neutrogena clarifying shampoo. Neutrogena no longer makes that shampoo. First, are there any tricks for getting the shampoo to rinse out completely or as completely as possible? Do you have any recommendations for a clarifying shampoo? I've tried an apple cider vinegar rinse and that doesn't seem to do it either.

The Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo is my favorite clarifying shampoo. It works wonders and is cheap to boot!
