LCPS - middle school sports?

This feels like a silly question but does LCPS not offer middle school sports for kids? I'm not from this area so maybe this is the norm here.

Yes, that's the norm here. There are rec leagues (CLBL - central Loudoun basketball league) teams that have kids from 3-4 middle schools on one team. There's the MS House League and a MS Travel League.

Sometimes 8th graders can play up on JV teams for their high school.

My child is in middle school volleyball which is done outside of school. This seems to be the norm here (also not from this area originally).
