Anthony Brown is the Democratic nominee. He may be boring and you may be tired of him and you might be tempted to protest vote R or leave it blank out of spite because of some general dissatisfaction with the Democrats, but for sanity's sake, vote for him. Dan Cox is getting national attention for being crazy, but this guy is a whole different level of crazy.

At this point in the game, I assume that any GOP candidate in any state or city running for any office is either actively a white supremacist, or is OK with white supremacist speech, actions, policies, etc. If you still can self-identify as a Republican after Trump and the Tea Party, you’re “out” now. Might as well show your true colors.

The "business community" kept funding more and more extreme Republican candidates in the primaries. Trump's norm breaking emboldened the most extreme fringes to lunge for power AND win.
