Found the site recently, and good god. Why does the moderator let all of that terrible stuff get posted?

Someone committed suicide from the harassment they received from that site. I think the husband sued. Very sad and sick that people behave that way.

I doubt racism is even 10% of what gets deleted. I imagine Jeff easily gets 50-100+ whiney complaints every day for other bases. Could be a lot more. Plus he has rules, things he will remove if posted.

Legit met the guy who moderated / owned that site in real life. It was a few years ago but man when he admitted it I was shocked. As he saw my face and realization sunk in, he made a cringe-y face and kinda shrugged. He knows its horrible. I wonder whatever happened to him. Has the site gotten worse over the last few years… I thought it went dark?

I don’t think there was ever much moderation on that site, but there’s basically none now. About 85% of the posts are pharma spam and the other 15% can be even more vile. There were periods maybe 15 years ago when you might see the type of threads common on this forum.

Was this woman trashed on here over an affair or something? I feel like I remember something. Not sure.

That was a lot of the comments about her on FFXU. Not sure about here.

She was a firewoman and the other Fairfax firemen were harassing her. Some of them went on Fairfax Underground to further harass her, only anonymously. They were vicious. It hurt her to the bone and she committed suicide.

The guy that runs that site wants it to be totally uncensored and unmoderated because he thinks it's cool to watch people treat others badly and often in a vulgar, vile, vicious way. He likes it. So do many of those who comment there, obviously.

I think Jeff does a fantastic job moderating here although I'm really perplexed as to why all the conservatives who whine about his liberal bias haven't started their own site, not one of them! Why not? Especially the guy who said this above:

Someone tell me what exactly he meant by that, please. What is "other bases"?

Fairfax cops actually read it to track gang activity and drug dealers. Gangs use it to put out “hits” or whatever. The drug sales are real, but you’ll get robbed.

I recently couldn’t stop looking at it/reading it for an hour or so. There’s a really sick and disturbing obsession with trashing and mocking Bijan Ghaiser on there, I don’t get why and it really disgusts me the way they trash the dead and his family… it’s a dark dark disgusting site. Makes me feel slightly uneasy living around here (except yes yes I know there’s people like this everywhere)
