Small pot and pan set

Anonymous
My DC will live off- campus this year and will do very little cooking (mainly heating soup and making eggs). Any recommendations for a small pot and pan set? TIA

Why would your off campus daughter not cook? Does she not eat?

Why do you assume DC is a female? And if so, asking why DD would not cook? If it was a DS, would you ask the same question? Or assume that a male child does not know how to cook or assume a female child should know how?

Lighten up Francis.

Don’t get a set. Go to Ross or Home Goods and get a small non-stick pan for eggs and small and medium sized saucepans for soup. Maybe a larger pot for boiling pasta.

NP either way if your kid can only cook eggs and soup you failed as a parent.

Agree with this. Non-stick pan for eggs for sure, and a 2-qt pot for soup/pasta.

I wouldn’t get a set. Go to TJ Maxx or Marshall’s and get a medium sized frying pan with a lid. This will work for most things. The other pieces — small pan with sloped sides, saucepan, cookie sheet, casserole dish —will vary with what the dc is likely to cook.
