how many outfits does your one year old have?

Does your dc repeat the same clothes every week?

No, not even close. I have a Baby Gap problem. The first step is admitting it, right?

I have a 10 month old boy, so we pretty much do onesies and pants all the time. He probably has about 15 onesies and 6-8 pairs of pants. We also have an older son so lots are hand-me-downs. I would love to buy more clothes, but since they grow so fast, I have a hard time justifying spending the money.

Yes, we pretty much repeat the same outfits every week. We have just enough to allow us to get through the week and only do wash on the weekends.

new poster here - do you generally wash everything that db has worn that day, even if it doesn't appear dirty? DD is 10 mo old and while her onesies may get dirty, her pants often stay clean, especially if we were indoors all day. I throw everything in the laundry each day, but often wonder if others don't (and that way, I'd get more outfits out of the clothes she has and not have to do laundry as often).

We do wash everything every day, but we probably don't really have to. We have cats, though, and now that our son is crawling, he always seems to have cat hair on his pants, no matter how often we vacuum!

I am amazed that you have a clean 10 mo! Mine is covered in food or dirt all the time, and usually requires an outfit change mid-day.

We just started not washing everything for my 3 yo because she is neater and often her clothes are clean at the end of the day. But the baby is a dirt magnet!

I am addicted to baby clothes though nothing fussy and frilly. We wash after each wear and buy a lot of clothes to avoid laundry more than once a week. For us its time vs money. Time won.

I'm thinking i need to buy my kid more clothes!! We do laundry twice a week (Mon and Thursday), so he has enough clothes to go about 4 days with one or two "nice" outfits as necessary. I always end up with more shirts than pants (or shorts). And in cool weather he wears an undershirt every day, so I have 4 of those. Obviously, we repeat outfits A LOT!

Unless it's something he's only worn for a few hours due to a spill or a mud puddle, I wash his entire outfit each day. He's 2 now, but I've really done that since he started eating food and/or moving around a lot. PJs typically get worn twice before a wash.
