Will I need/want my purse on a cruise?

| Never been before but wondering if I even need to bring a purse? We have two excursion days but I imagine I will bring a backpack and wouldn’t carry a purse even if I had one with me. Will I need or want it on the ship? |

This is why I have a very small purse for travelling. I always need somewhere for a bit of makeup, eye drops, comb, ID, cash, credit card, etc. Fanny pack would be great. I laugh about the fanny packs I got rid of from the 90's because I thought they were nerdy. They actually are very handy. |

They call them "belt bags" now, but we all know they're still the same old fanny pack dressed up for the 2020s

I use a small cross body in the evening. All I really need in there is the cruise card but if I'm wearing something with no pockets I need something.
I prefer cross body to a wristlet personally just because I like it to be hands free and I don't want to place it down on a bar or craps table or lounge seat and lose it. Plenty of people wear it on a lanyard but I prefer not to. |

| Agree with a small cross body. I always like to have a water bottle with me. You will need a place for your cruise identification and some sunscreen. |
